Special Hunt Package Rates Include:
- Service of one experience professional hunter, trackers and skinners, camp personnel, and hunting vehicle.
- Accommodation, meals, beverages, and daily laundry services.
- Transportation of trophies to local Taxidermists.
- Road transport to and from O.R Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) and to and from hunting area.
- Trophy fees for game taken or wounded. Note: all wounded animals to be paid in full.
- Free State hunting license and permits.
- 14% VAT on package hunts
Not Included in Special Packages:
- Any air travel to and from, and within South Africa.
- Any hotel charges before and after contracted safari period.
- Field preparation of trophies by Professional Hunter.
- Taxidermy fees: packing, dipping, and shipping to final destination (prices to be supplied separately upon request).
- Additional air charters if needed within South Africa.
- Gratuities for staff: $20 per day for camp staff, trackers, and skinners
- Touring and sight seeing out of hunting agreement - lodging, meals, drinks, entrance fees, and any other activity expenses not included in standard price packages.
- $150 per day rifle rental including ammunition.
Additional Information
- 100% money back on any animal not harvested inside standard price package.
- All package prices are for 1 hunter x 1 professional hunter only.
- All standard packages can be upgraded to add more hunting days and species to be hunted (revert to specie price list above).
- Full amount payable soonest and prior to arrival in Johannesburg to confirm reservation and booking.
- Non hunter guests at $140 per day per person (accommodation, meals, drinks, laundry included).
- Please note, not all species occur in the same region and may require additional travel.
- Some species are limited; please request at booking to check for availability.
- Clients need to provide own medical and travel insurance coverage.
Air Transportation
- From the U.S., fly into Johannesburg via New York or Atlanta. Recommend Delta flight out of Atlanta (cheaper option with zero stop over). Flight will arrive in the afternoon where you will be met by the outfitter and transferred to Kommandonek Game Reserve (approximately 2 hour drive).
- From Europe, a variety of airline choices are available which also fly into Johannesburg. Check with your travel agent for the best choice.
- From Canada, fly via Amsterdam or London to Johannesburg.
